I bought the Newage Soundwave and he did come with Ravage, Rumble, and Laserbeak. However, I wasn't very happy with Laserbeak and Rumble. Then I saw that Magic Square also offers these cassettes. They look great and sold separately. Unfortunately, they were out of print bc I was late to the Legends scale game. When Magic Square announced that some of their cassettes will be re-issued, I knew I had to ordered them right away. For $32, you get 4 tapes, which comes out to be $8/tape. To me that seems reasonable, if the product is good that is. You get the iconic trio of Laserbeak, Rumble, and Ravage, with the inclusion of Autoscout, of which this is the first time I've heard of him. Of all 4, Autoscout is okay to have just to have him. Simple transformation but otherwise, kind of useless, just like in the cartoon where he gets a few seconds of screen time just to get blown up. The best part is that he looks the best as a cassettes. So if you have to put one in Magic Square Soundwave, then he is the one. The others are a mess in cassette form. Of all 4, the best I have to say is Laserbeak. Everything about him/it is all I could have asked for in his size. He isn't perfect though. I wish he had some articulation in his head like the Newage's, but other than that, love him. Compare to him, Newage is a terrible, with only the magnet and head articulation to save it. Rumble is second best. He looks really good, with lots of details and decent articulation. Great QC as there aren't any loose joints, so he doesn't have a problem standing up. My only complaint is his face sculpt could have been better, but like Laserbeak, it's minor and I like him a lot. Compare to Newage, he is nicer looking but that's because he is a little bigger. He is more stable to pose with better joints, unlike the Newage's, which always fall and joints are very loose. Last, is Ravage. He is a beefy boy. I prefer Newage's over him bc Newage's has a sleeker body and a better head sculpt. It just feels like his proportions are not correct. While he is okay to have, he is not great. His 4 legs are on ball joint. While it's great for articulation, it's a pain to try to pose him bc it moves around too much. I think Newage's Ravage is better. I hope Magic Square will release the other cassettes as well. I want Frenzy, Ratbat, and Buzzsaw to complete my collection.
