This is one of my favorite figures! The amount of detail and the quality of the joints are incredible, especially for it'd discounted price. Just looking at the robot mode, I didn't even think it could transform. It looks so good and the light up feature makes it so fun to look at. My favorite part of this Optimus Prime is the matrix that you can put in his chest. It's so good, highly recommended it for any collection.

Although I'm not a huge fan of Michael Bay's Transformers, I do love his take on Optimus Prime. Once I saw this up for pre-order, I had to buy him as this is an improvement on MPM-12 as it's already got the upgrade kit, fixed the cat ears, nicely painted but, for a fraction of the price of MPM-12. My copy is solid with no loose joints and transformation is easy if you've already got MPM-12. If not, it's not too complicated as it's fairly easy to transform. Overall, a great figure for a fraction of the price of MPM-12 and a huge discount if you're wanting the upgrade kit. The only downsides I have with this figure are: I wish it came with more than just his blaster and I wish they would had made a better box for him as it's just a plain cardboard box with CE-06 written on it. Oh, another reviewer said the CE-01 Bumblebee scaled better with Magnificent Mecha 01, I've included a picture of how much bigger MM-01 is compared to this guy which is 2.5" taller.

First of all, this figure is painted generously with metallic paint. This gives the figure a lot more consisent and screen accurate look. Personally however I like the original mpm-12 colors too (maybe moreso). Secondly every finger can now move seperately as well as thighs now have their own swivel as opposed to above the knee one that the original has. This improves the articulation by a lot. In addition to these improvements forearms were redesigned to give them more sleeker screen accurate look. The only change I don't like is the shoulders. I think the original has better shoulder articulation. It is important to note that almost every improvement in robot mode compromises the already compromised truck mode further. For example due to added thigh swivel they themselves are a lot more thicker this results in them being lower than the wheels so the truck can't roll making the rubber tires an unnecessary addition. Also due to thighs being longer the back of the truck is not as uniform as it is on the original as well as I had to shorter the tabs on thighs so the gas tanks could tab in. Lastly, this figure doesn't scale well with cyber era CE-01 beetle. So if you really care about scale and are planning to display Optimus together with bee I recommend saving up for magnificent mecha mm01 as it scales better as well as has a cleaner truck mode. Overall, it is a pretty solid figure and only costing 80 euros makes it hard not to recommend it.
