This is a really neat Windcharger. I'm using it with my CHUG collection because, it makes an amazing deluxe as the robot mode and alt mode both scale really well with the War For Cybertron Trilogy and Legacy toys as well as their Selects and other sublines. A lot of people will roll their eyes given that Boost (Windcharger) is a "mini-bot" in G1 but, the 1982 Pobtiac Firebird Trans Am isn't a small vehicle and Boost (Windcharger) would realistically be around the size of the other Autobot and Decepticon sports cars/coupes. For anyone wondering, I checked the scale with a tailor's tape and it is as follows (sorry for the standard units of measure). Length = 5.0000" 1:37.56 (1:1 = 187.80"), Width = W 1.9375" 1:37.36774193548387 (1:1 = 72.40"), and Height = 1.2500" 1:39.68 (1:1 = 49.60"). It's a little undersized in alt mode for the current CHUG scale but, it's not super noticeable given that the current CHUG sports cars are between 1:34ish (Gigawatt) and 1:36ish scale while Siege/Earthrise/Kingdom Optimus Prime's alt mode is around 1:42ish to 1:45ish (no one has exact measurements for the actual vehicle). People routinely say that the current CHUG scale is 1:32 but it's not, I have an actual 1:32 1997 Texeco Credit Card Edition Tanker Truck and a 1:32 1969 VW Beetle that are massive next to all the current CHUG alt modes. The robot mode height scales extremely well with the current CHUG deluxes. As a gearhead, this is a substantially better fit than being drawn small because the character was based on a keychain toy which arbitrarily meant the robot height needed to be similar to Bumblebee's robot height. Thankfully I wound up with a later production run that had various improvements and fixes. The transformation can be a nightmare when transforming actual CHUG toys as Boost (Windcharger) was designed to go with MP toys so it's a lot more complex and you need to pay attention. The first major design flaw is the way that the door tabs have to much clamping power to the side windows and how the roof has too much clamping power to the hatchback. Those connections are extremely tight, obnoxiously difficult to untab, and there is a constant fear of snapping those pegs off. The other major design flaw is the foot transformation is unnecessarily over-engineered. There is a lot of very non-intuitive movement involved and a lot of parts clashing. If it wasn;t the best looking Windcharger available, I would have returned it for a refund just over the foot transformation. Other than those issues and a personal distaste for die-cast (which was great in the 80s but it's not needed anywhere other than the feet on modern toys for counter balance), it's an amazing toy.

Looks great some of the joints are too stiff when separating I broke 2 tabs trying to transform but the tabs are unnecessary in robot mode

Can't say much. I haven't transformed it. It is smaller then I assumed but I know the robot size isn't supposed to be big. Looks kool though.
