A Must Have for TFP Fans.
I originally purchased this figure as a companion piece for APC Toys' Dark Master 2.0. But having handled this thing extensively, I can safely say that this is by far the best piece I have ever purchased from this site. The tolerances are perfect, not too stiff, not too loose. The paint is borderline perfection as well, with only some silver highlights needed to spruce up the waist (which you can see I added using a silver sharpie, along with repainting his swords and Ion Blasters). I cannot give this figure any more compliments that you won't see echoed here among other reviews, so I'll try to outline some key points to help you determine your purchase. First off, being a remold of the original First Edition TFP prime, you will find the thighs and waist somewhat restrictive for posing. The knees also have a 90 degree bend but the awkward proportions (accurate to the show) make dynamic posing challenging. The arms have full, unlimited range, with the only downside being they can appear somewhat droopy due to the un-centered point of rotation required for transformation. The truck-mode is perfect with absolutely zero robot-mode kibble visible, and the transformation itself is smooth and simple. There are no major downsides to this figure that I can cite. I absolutely recommend it, especially for this price!

good vehicle mode,great quality,well delivered by tfsafari although my only problem is that the ear fins of the alt head are not glued and are 2 separate pieces which can be lost

I bought this after I bought the APC Arcee. I don't know the series and I have never watched the show before. I'm a G1 collector because I stop watching Transformers after it ended. I only collect TF outside of G1 if it looks good and interesting. The APC Arcee caught my eyes and I thought that was the best version of Arcee in any series. From that, I saw this Optimus Prime and I just thought he looks so cool so I bought him right away and I'm glad I did. He is definitely one of the best looking Optimus in both modes and his transformation is really ingenious. He is made from hard plastic, while not the best, it's pretty good. Not sure if there is any paint on him or just color plastic, but he looks great. Articulation is very good, definitely better than their Arcee. I only have one QC issue and that is his leg joint is a little loose. Other than that, I have no complaint. Like I said, he is one of the best looking Optimus out there, and just as good as G1 Optimus. Definitely worth the $40 asking price, even though it was $35 MSRP.

One of the best Optimus Prime toys ever. Easy transformation great for transforming back and forth. The plastic feel and paint are great and the joints are solid. The accessories are fantastic as well. All of that makes this APC version a must buy for anyone thinking of buying it.

APC Toys APC-001 2.0 Version Attack Prime is a wonderful addition to any TFP collection. The paint is great. The joints (on my copy) are tight. The plastic feels solid. The scale is perfect for me. I prefer APC's version over the original first edition TFP prime as it feels better and looks better in my opinion. While I have and prefer the chrome version of this figure, I had to get this one to display both modes simultaneously. I hope APC continues to offer TFP fans a chance to collect all the characters from a great show and line of figures.

The plastic feels good the problem I have with it are the lose shoulder connecter but other than that its a great figure. It's also a very good update of the old figure.
