Wheeljack is the last figure from APC Toys TF Prime series that I bought. I bought him last because I wanted to finish up my collection and not because I like him. Again, APC Toys surprised me. He turned out to be just as great as all their other figures. Like all APC Toys releases, they look good both in alt and bot mode, articulation is a bit limited, and the paint is always good. From the picture, I didn't like him that much, but in hand, he looks great. All the different cues they use to reimagine G1 Wheeljack certainly brings some nostalgia to me. I don't know many Wheeljack version, but I have to say this is on par with my favorite version, which is the G1. This one looks to be a younger, angrier Wheeljack that has been through a lot. Alt mode looks to be a sleeker more futuristic version of the original G1. I love that they included the extra heads, swords, guns, and grenade that can be used in different ways. The playability is certainly there. I don't like that his arms are a bit too long but it is one of the characteristics of the series and gives it some distinction. I also don't like his hands, which holds everything with friction, meaning everything is loose in his hands, from sword to gun. I did have a QC issue with a loose leg joint. Other than that, I think he is a great addition to my collection and the biggest surprise of all the APC Toys figures I bought. With him, I have all APC Toys TF Prime figures. Now I just need them to make new ones, specifically Starscream and Bumblebee. I totally recommend him to anyone who like Transformers and not just TF Prime fans. While he is a bit limited in the articulation department, he more than makes up with his cool looks in both modes.

A good figure would recommend

Trouble with accessories, but over phenomenal figure! It's basically the Original released figure but better. He's got way more accessories, all of which are extremely well painted. The mold has been updated to fill ugly gaps and provide additional joints for bot and vehicle mode. And the packaging is fantastic, with the figure coming in it's own dedicated foam insert. Some problems are that the extra swords that were custom designed for this release of the figure aren't the easiest for him to hold, wabling around in his hands. In addition, the new guns included are more like sad pistols when compared to his guns from the show. I easily would've preferred more paint on the figure on places like the headlights or (newly added) front grill panels, as apposed to the not very useful canons, but they fit well with the figure if you like the look. Also, the grenade they included is designed to fit in a specific peg on the hip to mimic the character in the show. However, it simply does not fit well at all. It can get in there, but it takes some finagling. These issues However are easily nitpicking the few "poor" aspects of the figure. It is otherwise fantastic, with excellent quality plastic, joints, and paint that has me excited for my next figure that I have arriving in the mail soon! Note: I especially had fun posing him with other figures from the same toyline as the original mold. They should totally remake the prime universe iron hide based on the Kup mold.
