Just want to share with anyone who still wants to buy Menasor. He is still available directly from Magic Square website for the same price at $200 including shipping, at least for me, as of January 2025. Here's my review so you will see if it's worth the money. I love combiners and I own Zeta Superion, Magic Square Devastator and Bruticus, and I'm in the process of finishing up Iron Factory Liokaiser and I'm just starting on Craftsman Toys Computron. Why did I take so long to purchase Magic Square Menasor when he was the first combiner from the company? Well, I was waiting to see if there are better alternatives. Waited for Newage, but that took forever and they haven't even released their first figure yet. Waited for Rising Force and while I like their style of combining, similar to G1 Menasor toy, I passed due to their terrible design, especially in combined mode. Also, the price they were charging was similar to Magic Square. I was still hesitant to buy this guy bc I didn't like all the part forming. Some part forming is fine, but this was way too much. After waiting for 2 years, I've decided to go with Magic Square because it was the best version, despite hearing all the problems from their first release. If you are worried about the QC issues, let me tell you that most of them have been resolved. I've heard there have been minor changes in color too. As individual bot, they are fine, pretty good even. As alt mode, they are okay, not the best but serviceable. Of course, most everyone who buys this will put them in combined mode, which is where mine will be for the rest of my life. The one thing that convinced me to buy MS's version is bc of all the option you can put Menasor in. I think there are 4 or 5 version. I've chosen the standard one but twist the lower legs around so that the cars in front instead of behind the legs. I will have to say combining Menasor was very frustrating. The tabs on the car don't fit well to Menasor frame bc they are a little too small. I had to get an exacto knife to make them a little bigger. Second, the tab that hold each side of the upper torso to the main torso don't tab in very well and would pop out every time I manipulate his arms. Most joints have been fixed and are tightened enough that he can hold his gun and sword and not have the arms drop down. Also, some of the cars came with scratches. Other than that, everything is fine. So do I hate it and regret my purchase? Absolutely not. Menasor looks so damn good and was worth it after all the frustration. He is probably the best looking Menasor out there on the market right now. I'm so glad I'd decided to buy him before he goes out of print. If you want him, then I suggest you buy him now before he is gone and you will have to buy him on the second hand market.
